Description:

The Clatsop Country Heritage Museum follows the history of the region, starting with the presence of the Native Americans, rambling through the stories of the area's pioneers, and exploring the history of fishing, logging and lumbering in the area. The museum is housed in a 1904 Neoclassical building, and in its time has been used as Astoria City Hall, a public library and a U.S.O. club during WWII. The museum is located near the heart of Astoria, just east of Fort Astoria and south of the Columbia River Maritime Museum.

Open daily 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
